EEE supplies 4000 fixtures for Social Security Building in Lisbon 04 December 2018
EEE was the lighting manufacturer chosen to supply the approximately 4000 luminaires for the new Social Security building in Lisbon. Built in 1989 for Banco Nacional Ultramarino bank, it is a work of Tomás Taveira architect, who won an honourable mention of the 1994 Valmor Prize.

All  services will be concentrated in the building, such as the district social security center of Lisbon, the Medical Boards, the central services of the ISS (Social Security Institute) and the National Pension Center (CNP).

The special manufacturing luminaire chosen for this space, that will host around 1500 employees, was based on a premium EEE luminaire with an efficiency above 90% and an excellent glare control. About half of the luminaires are equipped with a DALI control system, in order to take advantage of the natural light transmitted by the large glass areas of the building.

In this project EEE had the collaboration of its partner "A Electrificadora S.A." and the installation company "Acordo, Lda".
