CONCEPT DEVELOPED FOR USE IN CORRIDORS
Due to fact that they are electronic, one can equip ballasts with technology that allows them to adequately adjust to certain situations. Working in the corridors is one of the most common,
in which, by using a motion detector, the lamps only light up in the presence of motion.
OPERATION :
The corridorFUNCTION uses conventional motion detectors, but what distinguishes it from others is the ability to create a comfortable lighting behavior, using dimming, thus avoiding the abrupt on and off associated with conventional installations.
IMPORTANT ASPECTS
Though the concept is designed for corridors, it may well apply to other situations, including in spaces where , for reasons of safety, it is necessary to have permanent lighting such as pedestrian
walkways, underground train stations, ATMs, public buildings, hospitals, among others. This is only possible because the ballast can be programmed to reduce the flow to a certain value , instead
of shutting down, generating significant savings without ever harming the security of the space.
